Faculty-Led Study Travel Programs
What are they?
Faculty-Led Programs are Salem State courses where you travel with classmates and are guided by your faculty. These are great for first year students, students who cannot be away for a long period of time, students with tight academic schedules, and for those who would like to travel with others! Most of the programs are open to ANY major and are great ways to fulfill general education or degree requirements.How long would I be traveling?
Usually between 7-12 daysAm I eligible?
Probably! Here is the general criteria:- 2.0 minimum gpa for any program
- Good judicial standing
- Most programs are open to all majors
How do I join?
There is a simple application process:- Go to the program page that you are interested in
- Click "Apply Now"
- Log in with your SSU username and password
- Complete the application
- Disciplinary clearance
- Personal statement
- Copy of your unofficial trascript
- Copy of your passport if it's an international program
- Note: If you do not yet have a passport, you can show proof that you have applied for one
